Booked here to attend a 70th birthday party at the golf club. Checked in all fine, room was also fine. Got back after midnight and they even let us have a drink at the bar although obviously closed. Staff we came into contact with were friendly and accommodating. The 2 young ladies organising breakfast next morning also need to be congratulated for their happy disposition, especially faced with overnight wedding guests and others making it a very busy morning for the service.
Such lovely people, they were so helpful and although the booking website didn’t pass on my messages about being disabled and need a disability bathroom they sorted it out and got us a way around ! He had a lovely time and our complaints to the chef who went above and beyond at breakfast. As our lazy teenager’s didn’t want to get up for breakfast bless she made them breakfast rolls every day! So kind and we would definitely come back x
Staff were fantastic especially concerning my allergies, l have never had such a good experience with that regard. Food was very tasty ! Our room was huge though the bathroom was odd - could just be us being old fashioned! All in all, very much enjoyed our stay!
I cannot thank Kings Croft enough for hosting our wedding last weekend. From start to finish, I couldn’t fault them. All staff were attentive and friendly, and were quick to reply to my never ending questions! On the day, the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The food was the best wedding food we’ve ever had! Amazing!
On the 25th November kings croft did our mother molly wilson funeral tea We catered for 70 people The food was lovely and the service was outstanding Tea and coffee was free flowing and hot roast beef was topped up. With sandwiches also being replaced when empty Nothing was too much trouble for them , they even gave my dogs some Everyone commented on the lovely food and service Thank you everyone it was the perfect ending for our mother . I did an event here yesterday, we was able to set up for the function throughout the day which was very helpful, the room and toilets were very clean, and staff were nice also would recommend for a function
We stayed here on a visit to Pontefract. The rooms were fine. Communication was poor - I'd sent an email booking a table for dinner and had no reply. The staff were great. The food at dinner wasn't - overcooked pigs in blanket and stuffing balls, dry turkey. Breakfast was OK. SO OK place to stay but don't bank on a good dinner.
Went for Sunday Lunch with my partner. The food and service were excellent. Amy, one of the staff a King's Croft, was amazing, and an absolute credit to her employers. She was so helpful, and attentive. Made our afternoon really enjoyable
